Serhii Lavrynenko is stepping down as head coach of Rivne-based Veres. This decision was made today during the final meeting of 2023 by the members of the Supervisory Board of the people's club.
Serhiy Lavrynenko took over the helm of the Red and Blacks on 16 June this year. Under his leadership, Veres has played 18 official matches this season (16 in the Ukrainian league and 2 in the Ukrainian Cup). The team won 3 matches (2 in the league and 1 in the Cup), drew 6 times and lost 9 matches (8 in the league and 1 in the Cup).
It will be recalled that Veres went into the winter break in the Ukrainian league with twelve points and fifteenth place in the standings, in the direct relegation zone.
