Yassine Bunu, Thibaut Courtois and Ederson have been named by FIFA as the final contenders for the World Goalkeeper of the Year award.
Photo: fifa.comThe award recognises the most outstanding goalkeepers for the period from 19 December 2022 to 20 August 2023. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in London on 15 January 2024.
Initially, five players were nominated for the FIFA Men's Best Goalkeeper award, selected by a panel of experts. From this list, the three finalists were selected by an international jury comprising men's national team coaches, men's national team captains, football journalists and fans who voted on the official FIFA website.
