In the second half, both teams made several substitutions in an attempt to change the game. Slavia Praha made three substitutions in the 60th minute: V. Jurecka, M. Chytil made three substitutions. Jurecka, M. Chytil and K. Vallem replaced M. Tomic, M. Tijani and A. Dumitrescu respectively. FC Servette also made a number of substitutions in the 62nd minute: S. Diba, M. Stevanovic, K. Bedia and A. Antunesh replaced A. Baron, K. Zunemoto, D. Kutes and T. Konjata respectively. Near the end of the match, in the 79th minute, Servette made the last substitution: B. Bolla came on in place of H. Tuati. In the 82nd minute Slavia Praha also made the last substitution: D. Duder was replaced by S. Picolon. Picolon. As a result, Slavia Prague's dominant play in the first half was enough to secure a comfortable victory. The match demonstrated their ability to control the game and utilise their opportunities. FK Servette fought hard, but were unable to break through Slavia Praha's solid defence. The result not only reflects the play on the pitch, but also serves as a statement of Slavia Praha's intentions in the UEFA Europa League.
