According to Sport.UA, the Lviv Football Association (LAF), as one of the collective members of the UAF, has nominated Andriy Shevchenko as a candidate for the UAF presidency.

According to the source, one of the LAF delegates to the UAF's extraordinary Congress will be former Dynamo and Ukraine national team player Oleh Luzhnyi. There is also a possibility that Shevchenko's famous long-term teammate may get one of the positions in the UAF.

The other two delegates from the Lviv football region are LAF chairman Oleksandr Shevchenko and his deputy Rostyslav Zaremba. The extraordinary Congress will be held on 25 January 2024.
