Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who has recently joined the team's first-team training camp, assured that he wants to become the best player on the planet.
"I'm doing well. I had surgery - it was a serious injury. But we are getting closer and closer to the New Year. I'm doing really well and I hope to be back on the pitch soon. I want to be the best I can be. The injury hasn't hindered my ambitions. I want to be the best in the team, I want to be the best player in the world. I still have constant motivation.
Even during these four months of absence, I tried to find ways to change myself as a player, to become more unconventional. I'm sure everything will be great when I get back on the field. I hope to just keep playing good football and that would be good enough," De Bruyne was quoted as saying by The Guardian.
