"Sunderland have decided on their favourite for the position of head coach - Nazariy Rusyn will be led by Michael Beale, who was Steven Gerrard's assistant.

The English club will soon introduce the former Scottish Rangers coach Michael Beale, according to well-known insider Fabrizio Romano.

Michael Beale was Steven Gerrard's assistant at Scottish Rangers and English Aston Villa.
