Ukrainian striker of Spanish "Valencia" Roman Yaremchuk had a great opportunity to score a goal in yesterday's match of the Spanish championship with Barcelona.
In the second minute of the game, the 28-year-old responded to a flank pass from his partner, technically received the ball in the Catalan penalty area, turned towards the goal and struck an accurate shot into the bottom corner, but Barça goalkeeper Iñaki Peña managed to convert the game to a corner.
Yaremchuk joined Valencia on loan from Belgian side Brugge in early September. Since then, the striker has taken part in 13 matches of his new team in all tournaments (5 appearances in the starting line-up, 8 substitute appearances), and he has one goal to his credit.
