MLS team New York Red Bulls has announced on its official website the transfer of RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg. The parties signed a three-year deal with an option to extend for another 12 months.

The 32-year-old joined Leipzig in 2015 from Malmö and has spent the last seven and a half seasons at the club, where he has won the German Cup twice and the German Super Cup once.
