Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola was dissatisfied with his team's performance in the match of the 17th round of the English Championship against Crystal Palace (2:2).
"We need to be patient, to prevent the opponent's counterattacks. We have been doing this for 7-8 years in matches of this type. But, of course, in the first case they run away and score, and then we give them a penalty in the last minute. You have to play carefully in the penalty area, and we didn't do that. We didn't deserve to win.
It was not a failure, everything was deserved. We gave away two points. When you give a penalty, you deserve it. Look at the chances we created and missed. This season, we are not able to decide the outcome of matches," the Manchester Evening News quoted Guardiola as saying.
