The meeting was attended by First Vice-Presidents of the Ukrainian Football Association Oleksiy Mykhailychenko, Anatoliy Demyanenko, Vadym Kostyuchenko, Acting UAF Secretary General Ihor Hryshchenko, as well as heads and representatives of UAF structural units.

As you know, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, pursuant to subparagraph 2 of paragraph 5 of the protocol decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 1 December 2023 No. 133 on the study of the issue of ensuring the admission of spectators to sports facilities during martial law competitions, has developed additional security measures for the organisation and holding of championships, cups, all-Ukrainian competitions among different age groups in Ukraine under martial law, which have been agreed with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The meeting participants discussed the main provisions of this document, agreed on a list and schedule of tasks related to it that require further interaction with stadium management, match delegates, clubs, law enforcement agencies, regional military administrations and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. The further results of the preparation of the responsible structures for the organisation of matches with spectators will be announced later.

According to the UAF First Vice President Vadym Kostyuchenko, the first step is to invite the social quota of fans to the matches held in Ukraine, who will be able to distract themselves from the horrors of war by watching the matches. "Through football, we want to support the children and relatives of fans who died defending our country, the defenders of Ukraine who were seriously injured, lost limbs and are undergoing rehabilitation. It can also be medics from the front line who are on leave and want to attend the match to take their minds off the extremely important but psychologically very difficult job of saving wounded soldiers. I am sure that for any team, the support of such fans will be honourable and inspiring," said Vadym Kostyuchenko.
