The president of "Besiktas" Hasan Arat personally met with this 58-year-old specialist, but was refused. It turned out that next season Flick will head Borussia Dortmund.
After that, the Istanbul club once again turned their eyes on former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu. The Romanian specialist is expected to be offered a contract until the end of the 2024/25 season in the coming days.
