Yesterday, the now former coach of Poltava "Vorskla" Viktor Skrypnyk signed a contract with Kharkiv "Metalist 1925" and became head coach of this team, reports Sport.ua.
According to the publication, the new management of "Metalist 1925" has long been interested in the 54-year-old specialist and even guaranteed him at least the same salary that he had in "Vorskla" - 45 thousand euros monthly. According to available information, Poltava were forced to let Skrypnyk go (earlier it was reported that the parties terminated the contract by mutual consent), because they were unable to fulfil the terms of the contract. In addition, the team's performance was also wanting better.
In the coming days Skrypnyk will decide who will help him in the coaching staff of Metalist 1925.
