Today is not particularly rich in birthdays of personalities who have closely linked their lives with football:
Ognjen Vukojevic. Photo: fcdynamo.comOgnjen Vukojevic (1983) - former Croatian midfielder. He was famous for his efficiency and unyieldingness in the fight for the ball, for which he was nicknamed "Croatian Gattuso". For a long time he played for Dynamo Kyiv. Since 2007, he was consistently called up to the camp of the Croatian national team. Participant of the European Championships in 2008 and 2012.
We would like to add that immediately after signing the contract with Kyiv club, Ognjen stated that he preferred Dynamo's offer to the possibility of moving to one of such clubs as Ajax Amsterdam, Celtic Scotland, as well as Bayern Munich. In May 2017, he was appointed as Dinamo's manager for the Balkan region, Eastern and Central Europe. He was Mircea Lucescu's assistant in the Dynamo coaching staff.
