As it was already reported, on the 12th of January Dynamo Kyiv will come out of holiday and start preparation for the second part of the season. After a week-long cycle of work at their club base, the Bilo-Syni will go to the training camp, which will be held in Turkey.
During the upcoming training camp Dynamo will play a number of control matches. The opponents for most of these friendlies are still at the stage of agreement, but the name of one of the opponents of Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team is already known - it is Polish Legia from Warsaw.
On the eve, Legia announced the plans of their off-season preparation, indicating, among other things, that on 29 January there will be a control match with Dynamo Kyiv. This match will take place in Belek, where the Warsaw team will also hold a preparatory training camp. Interestingly, the sparring with Kyiv will be the last control match for Legia before returning home.
Legia finished the first part of the current Polish championship in 5th place, having scored 32 points in 19 matches (9 wins, 5 draws, 5 losses). In the national championship last season, the capital team finished second, 9 points behind the champion Raków.
