The Ukrainian Premier League has released a statement on its official website regarding the ruling of the EU's Supreme Court regarding the unlawful sanctions imposed by UEFA and FIFA on the Super League.
"We take note of the decision of the European Union's Supreme Court of Justice in the Super League case and continue to reject any concept of a Super League. This is an important decision and we will study its implications for the game. This ruling does not support the so-called Super League and the Premier League continues to reject any such concept.
Fans are vital to the game and have made clear their opposition to such "competition", which breaks the link between domestic and European football, on numerous occasions.
The Premier League reaffirms its commitment to the clear principles of open competition that underpin the success of domestic and international club competitions," the official statement reads, in part.
