Monza and Fiorentina battled it out in an exciting Serie A match at the U-Power Stadium, and both teams fought hard for the win. The game ended with the score 0-1 in favour of Fiorentina. At the start of the match, both teams showed their skills in attack, trying to gain the advantage. However, in the 7th minute Fiorentina snatched victory. L. Beltran put the ball into the net, which infuriated the Viola fans. The goal gave Fiorentina some much needed momentum and they continued to threaten the Monza defence throughout the first half. In the 33rd minute there was controversy as L. Beltran received a yellow card for a flagrant foul. In the same minute, Monza player P. Mari was also in the referee's book. The tension on the pitch continued to grow, both teams fought for control of the game. At the start of the second half Monza made two substitutions, trying to turn the tide of the match in their favour. P. Pereira and R. Gagliardini came on as substitutes in place of L. Colombo and P. Churria respectively. Fiorentina also made a substitution: L. Beltran was replaced by M. Nzola. In the second half the game became tougher, resulting in more yellow cards.
Yu Mina of Fiorentina received a yellow card in the 68th minute, while J. Akpa Akpro of Monza was cautioned in the 72nd minute. Both teams made further changes in the line-ups as the match entered the closing stages. Fiorentina introduced Arthur Melo and R. Mandragora in the 77th minute, while Monza introduced Dani Motu and S. Vignato in the 79th minute. With time running out, both teams threw all their energies into scoring the decisive goal. However, the defence held firm, leading to a tense climax to the match. In the last minutes Monza made two more substitutions: G. Kyriakopoulos and S. Birindelli came on the pitch. Birindelli. Fiorentina also made two late substitutions, bringing on G. Ikone and A. Duncan. In the final minutes of the match the heat of passion began to rise. In the 86th minute M. Kayode of Fiorentina received a yellow card, and in the 88th minute - D. D'Ambrosio of Monza. L. Ranieri (Fiorentina) was the last player to receive a warning in the 90th minute. Despite the best efforts of both teams, the scoreboard remained unchanged until the final whistle and Fiorentina defeated Monza 0-1. It was a tough win for the Viola and a disappointment for Monza, who will be looking to bounce back in their next Serie A match.
