Head coach of Kolos Kovalivka Yaroslav Vishnyak said what he thinks about the recent changes in the level of the Ukrainian championship.
"In my opinion, compared to what it was before, now the competition has increased. This is due to ambitious clubs entering the UPL and setting themselves maximum goals, which they are ready to solve. Competition for players, who are not so numerous on the transfer market, is also growing.
Now the number of clubs willing to create certain conditions for players or buy players from each other has increased. Here other factors such as the ability to adapt to the situation come into play. This is due to the presence of a club academy, which gives young players, and selection work, where you manage to invite a foreigner in such a difficult time and who will give competition and quality to your team.
Another fact cannot be ignored. A number of Shakhtar and Dynamo players have exercised their right to move to other clubs during the war. At the same time, the potential of both our grands have weakened, which somewhat levelled the overall level of the UPL teams. It is clear that Donetsk and Kyiv clubs have their own young and quality players, but, apparently, they are not as qualified as the legionnaires," Vishnyak said.
