"Bayern Munich were in talks with Barcelona over the transfer of Catalan defender Ronald Araujo.

According to Diario Sport, the Blaugranas did not want to sell the 24-year-old during the winter transfer window. Munich were ready to pay 100 million euros for the Uruguayan player.

This season, Araujo has played for Barcelona 16 matches in all competitions and scored one goal.
