Sport.ua has learned that the former head coach of the Ukrainian national football team, Andriy Shevchenko, who will be the only candidate for the post of UAF president in the upcoming election, plans to arrive in Kiev on 10 January 2024.
According to our source, it is in mid-January that there will already be specifics on who will help Shevchenko when he becomes the head of Ukrainian football.
Recall that Andriy Shevchenko is inclined to the need to reduce the number of first vice-presidents and vice-presidents of the UAF.
Extraordinary Congress of the UAF will be held on 25 January 2024 in Kiev.
Earlier it was reported that the PFL, as one of the members of the Ukrainian Football Association, nominated Andriy Shevchenko as a candidate for the UAF presidency.
