Shakhtar head coach Marino Pušić has told us how he will be preparing the team for the first time in his life during the almost three-month break in the league.

I analysed this with many members of the coaching staff, and we created a training plan for this month in Antalya. The programme is ready, and we will work hard to be ready for the first match. It is very unusual because other teams will already be playing at this time: "Marseille will play several official matches before they meet us, and we will only have friendly matches - this is a big difference. But we have what we have. We will try to prepare for this game as much as possible, given its complexity, and adjust to this level in the friendly matches we will play during the preparation period. It is not easy, but we will make every effort in training and in games to be ready, which, I must say, is not an advantage because the teams are already playing official matches and feel this high level of competition. For us, the situation is different - we will try to cope with the training programme," Pushic was quoted as saying by Shakhtar's official website .
