On 27 December, a meeting of the Registration Commission was held at the Football House to establish the powers of the delegates and the quorum of the extraordinary XXVI UAF Congress. The Commission summed up the results of the election of delegates to the Congress by UAF members and established a quorum of the Congress.

During the meeting, it was established that all permanent members of the Ukrainian Football Association, who have the right to nominate candidates for the position of UAF President, submitted the minutes of the meetings of their governing bodies on this issue. All the minutes nominate Andriy Shevchenko (date of birth - 29.09.1976), winner of the 2004 Golden Ball, Hero of Ukraine, and recipient of the National Legend of Ukraine award, for the position of UAF President.
The working group concluded that the candidacy of Andriy Shevchenko meets the requirements and criteria established by the UAF Statute for candidates for election as President of the UAF. In addition, in accordance with the Charter of the Ukrainian Football Association, the candidate has received a written consent to participate in the election of the UAF President.
Thus, Andriy Shevchenko is the only candidate for election to the position of UAF President at the extraordinary XXVI Congress of the Ukrainian Football Association.
FIFA and UEFA were informed of the results of the meetings of the commission and the working group, which are constantly informed about the progress of preparations for the UAF Congress.
According to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association, the extraordinary XXVI Congress of the UAF will be held on 25 January 2024 at the Football House (Kyiv, starting at 12:00).
