The Ukrainian Football publication at the end of the calendar year held a traditional (since 1991) referendum among domestic coaches, functionaries and journalists to determine the best in Ukraine in 2023. On Saturday, 30 December, the results of the poll in the Best Player of the Year nomination were published.
Artem DovbikEach of the respondents named their own version of the top three best footballers in the country. The nominee was awarded three points for the first place, two points for the second and one point for the third.
As a result, the best Ukrainian footballer of 2023 was the striker of Spanish "Girona" Artem Dovbik, who scored 207 points. The second was Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Georgiy Sudakov (190 points), and the Ukrainian legionnaire of Arsenal London Oleksandr Zinchenko (128 points) closed the top three.
