The first part of the 2023/2024 club season turned out to be both eventful and uneventful for Ukraine forward Roman Yaremchuk.
Roman Yaremchuk (photo: uaf.ua)On the one hand, the forward started the season with Belgian side Brugge, for whom he managed to play five matches and score four goals (all in the Conference League qualifiers), and is now celebrating the New Year in Spanish side Valencia.
On the other hand, this period cannot be called too successful for the player, who was loaned to the Bats to strengthen the team's attacking power. One goal scored (in the Spanish Cup) in 14 matches is definitely not the result that Valencia coach Ruben Baraha was hoping for. However, the coach continues to say that he believes in Yaremchuk, and his performance will definitely come after a natural process of adaptation to the new team, the league and the country.
This is exactly what we hope for, because in March the Ukrainian national team will have to resume the fight for a ticket to the finals of Euro 2024.
