According to the press service of Zaporizhzhya's Metalurg, the city council decided to cut funding for MFC Metalurg by UAH 14.5 million compared to last year.
This decision forced the club to terminate contracts with some players, and therefore Metallurg-2 is in the process of being disbanded, the women's team of IFC Metallurg will be disbanded at the end of the season, and the staff of the football school's coaches is being reduced.
At the same time, the club and the city authorities are looking for reliable partners who are ready to help develop professional football in Zaporizhzhia and become co-owners of the club.
