The head coach of the Brazilian national team Fernando Diniz has been fired from his position, reports Globo Esporte.
According to the source, the decision to terminate co-operation with this 49-year-old specialist was made personally by the head of the Brazilian Football Confederation Ednaldo Rodrigues.
At the same time, there is no official confirmation of the resignation of Diniz.
We add that Diniz was appointed head coach of the Brazilian national team recently - in early July last year. Since then, he has combined his position in the national team with his work as head coach of Fluminense. It was expected that Diniz will coach the Brazilian national team until the end of the current club season, after which he will be replaced by the famous Italian Carlo Ancelotti, but the latter the day before extended his contract with his current club - Real Madrid.
