Oleksandr Golovko (1972) - former Ukrainian footballer. Legendary defender and captain of Dynamo Kyiv. He also played for Simferopol Tavria and Chinese team Qingdao Beilait. He is the only player who became the champion of Ukraine, defending the colours of two different clubs ("Tavria" - 1 time, "Dynamo" - 7 times - ed.). He coached youth national teams of Ukraine, youth national team of Ukraine. Three times in a row he was named the best central defender of the Ukrainian championship. Now he is the head coach of Dynaz.
Vitaliy Buyalskiy (1993) - Ukrainian footballer, midfielder of Dynamo Kyiv. At the age of 12, Buyalsky was enrolled in a sports school in the town of Brovary. Four years later, Vitaliy was invited to the school "Dynamo" (Kyiv). Since 2010, he started to be involved in the youth national teams. He made his debut in the Premier League on 26 May 2013 in the match of the last round of the Ukrainian Championship against Metalurh Zaporizhzhya (3:0). In this game, Buyalsky came out in the starting line-up and at half-time was replaced by Admir Mehmedi.
On 26 February 2015, in the return match of the 1/16 Europa League final against French Gengam, he scored his first goal in official matches for Dynamo, contributing to the 3-1 victory. Three days later he scored for Dynamo for the first time in the championship, against Metalist Kharkiv.
Vladimir Lozinsky (1955) - former defender. He is known for his performance in Kyiv "Dynamo". He played 224 matches in the camp of "white-blue", in which he scored 9 goals. Three-time USSR champion. From 2007 to 2010 he worked as a selector at Dynamo Kyiv. The Ukrainian national team won the Summer Universiade in 2007 and 2009 under Volodymyr Fyodorovych's leadership.
Valery Lobanovsky (1939-2002) - a legend of world football. One of the best coaches in the history of football. For many years he coached Dynamo Kyiv, with whom he won many trophies, including two Cup Cups and the UEFA Super Cup. Eight-time USSR champion, six-time USSR Cup winner, five-time Ukrainian champion, three-time Ukrainian Cup winner. He coached the USSR national team three times, with which he became the silver medallist of the 1988 European Championship. Valery Vasilyevich had many nicknames that characterised the iron character and coaching talent of the Soviet genius. Lobanovsky was called Mater, Colonel, Iceberg and VVL. We should add that when Valeriy Vasilyevich worked in Arab countries (UAE, Kuwait), the Arabs called him Ugriumy Bear.
Lobanovsky had a dream - to win the European Champions Cup (later the Champions League - editor's note), which could not be realised. "Dynamo lost three times in the semi-finals of the most prestigious club tournament. On 7 May 2002 Lobanovsky had a stroke at the match in Zaporizhzhya, from the consequences of which he died five days later. On 15 May 2002, Lobanovsky was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. The Dynamo stadium in Kiev was named after him. The Champions League final of the 2001/2002 season, which took place on 15 May, started with a minute of silence in memory of the great player and coach.
