Famous Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has bought a mega mansion on the "Island of Billionaires" in Dubai. The star of Saudi club Al Nasr has added a large house to his property portfolio. The property is located on Jumeirah Bay Island, better known as 'Billionaires Island'.

Ronaldo is due to get a multi-million dollar property in 2024. It will be a 30,000 square foot mansion on the island with a private beach and pool. Ronaldo's property portfolio already includes a number of luxury homes across Europe.

In 2021, he started construction on a new £7m mansion in Portugal to add to his luxury villa in Madeira. His portfolio also includes properties in Manchester, Turin, Marbella and Madrid.

The 38-year-old footballer has bought a multi-million pound property in the secluded enclave. Ronaldo is set to see the mega mansion completed in 2024. It is rumoured to be valued at several tens of millions of pounds.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner and his family will stay in the mansion during their trips to Dubai. He and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez have two children and live with Ronaldo's three other children. His eldest son Cristiano Jr was born in 2010 and twins were born in 2017 via surrogacy.

The detached 30,000 square metre mansion on the island has six bedrooms, a private beach and a seven-car showroom. The system also has a swimming pool overlooking Dubai and staff accommodation. The mansions on the island face the sea and have stunning views of the city. The gated development includes gourmet restaurants, a yacht club and a beach resort overlooking the ocean.

Jumeirah Bay Island is better known as "Billionaires Island" and is home to Dubai's super-rich. Its nickname comes from the sheer number of billionaires on the island per square kilometre, more than any other place in the United Arab Emirates.

The island, which opened in 2017, is home to 10 mega mansions that are expected to sell for a total of £430m once completed.

Property prices on the artificial island have soared since the pandemic. In April last year, a 24,500 square foot stretch of sand was sold for a record £27m, surpassing the previous biggest sale of £19.5m.
