- Nothing changed in him, despite the circumstances, so I'm sure he would be the same as always.
- How do you think Valery Vasilyevich would have reacted to the war?
- Is there any other opinion he could have had about the war other than a negative one? I'm sure my father would have had the same negative attitude. In general, it is difficult for everyone now - athletes, coaches and ordinary people. Life is a very difficult thing, and in these times it is even more so.
- Are you pleased that people still gather to honour your father's memory?
- I am pleased that at least someone remembers my father. Initially, after his death, there were many more people, but every year there are fewer and fewer.
- Children from the Dynamo school often come to these events. Is it important that they know the history of Valeriy Vasilyevich?
- Children have always been our future, and, of course, it is very important that they know the history of Dynamo and the outstanding personalities of this great club.
