Mbappe: "Messi did not get the respect he deserved in France"

PSG forward Kylian Mbappe shared his thoughts on the attitude of the Parisian club's fans towards Lionel Messi.

After two unsuccessful seasons in European competitions, some PSG fans vented their negativity at the Argentine striker by gathering outside the club's office. Attitudes towards Messi worsened when fans learned that Lionel would not be renewing his contract and was going to move to play in the United States.

"Messi deserves a lot of respect. In fact, he didn't get the respect he deserved in France," Mbappe told Amazon Prime Sport.
