Former Dynamo Kyiv striker Artem Kravets, who now works in the selection department of the club, has reacted to the corruption scandal related to the embezzlement of funds that should have been sent to the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.
Artem KravetsOn 29 December, Ihor Hrynkevych, a Lviv-based businessman who is one of the main suppliers to the Defence Ministry, was detained on a $500,000 bribe. His family's companies have won Defence Ministry tenders worth a total of 3.2 billion hryvnias. The businessman is suspected of embezzling about half of this amount, concerning the supply of clothing for the military.
"Profiting on the deaths of Ukrainians... Is this what the whole of Ukraine is fighting for? How does the earth carries such?!", - wrote in this regard Kravets on his page in the social network Instagram.
