Borussia Dortmund midfielder and former captain Marco Royce has denied rumours of a conflict with head coach Edin Terzic.
"No one has ever wanted to dismiss Terzic. Neither I nor the other teammates had such an intention. It is getting harder and harder to read such rumours. It made me angry.
I would describe my relationship with Edin as very close. Because of this, we often talk openly with each other. And I do it not only face to face, but also in public. This is not unusual - I have done this with every coach throughout my career.
Terzic and I have no conflict. But I noticed that my reaction after being substituted in the match against Augsburg must have made such an impression. This is complete nonsense. Of course, I was disappointed that I had to leave the field. I shouldn't have shown my disappointment like that. I just need to control my emotions better," Sport1 quoted Royce as saying.
