Former Liverpool footballer John Aldridge believes that former Merseyside captain Jordan Henderson went to Saudi Arabia only for money.
"I have no sympathy for Henderson or Firmino. How can you feel sympathy for someone who has retired and is paid a lot of money? I don't feel sorry for them. They will learn their lesson. The grass is not always greener elsewhere, is it? Jordan realised that. And he's going to have to do something about it. When you have as much money as these players have, you don't even need to go out on the field. They're doing just fine. Their grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be fine too. What more could you ask for?" Aldridge wrote in his column for the Liverpool Echo.
