"Vorskla" has signed a striker from Georgia

Striker Mykola Kovtalyuk has moved to Poltava as a free agent after the end of his contract with Georgian Dila. The 28-year-old footballer became a player of Vorskla.

The textured centre-forward has not played in Ukraine since 2016. In early 2017 from the first league Kolos Kovtalyuk went on loan to Georgian Kolkhet-1913, and in July of the same year for 100 thousand euros was acquired from the "smiths" by Dinamo Tbilisi.

Last summer, the Sambor native scored for Dila in both matches of the 2nd qualifying round of the Conference League against Vorskla and helped the club to overcome the Ukrainian barrier on the aggregate of two games (1:2, 3:1).

Kovtalyuk played 36 matches for Dila in 2023, scoring 13 goals and giving 3 goal assists.
