Dynamo midfielder Vladislav Kabaev shared his expectations for the second half of the season.
- Vladislav, tell us how did you spend your holiday?
- First, I spent a few days in Kyiv, and then I went to my family in Odesa, where I hadn't seen them for a long time. I rested and prepared for the training camp there. Just two days ago I returned to the capital. During the holidays, I communicated with my teammates, congratulated each other on the holidays.
- What is the most vivid football memory of 2023?
- There were many good and bad ones. Perhaps, when I scored my debut goal for Dynamo and how well we spent the final part of the year. We started playing with more confidence. That's why I remember the end of the year.
- The first training camp with Oleksandr Shovkovskyi is ahead. Do you think there will be any differences compared to the training camps when Mircea Lucescu coached the team?
- I don't know, I guess we can only guess. For sure, there will be. Our head coach with his vision of football will probably bring something new.
- The transfer of Bragar to Dynamo is being actively discussed. What can you say about it?
- Yes, I know him well, I wrote to him immediately and congratulated him. I am honestly very happy for him, because he deserves it. I saw how well he played. I don't know when he will transfer - in winter or summer. This is not the first time I've been in such competition. Whoever is stronger will play. Maksym is a good footballer with good qualities. The coach will decide who will play.
- Did you have any tasks from Shovkovskyi for the holiday period?
- In principle, everything was standard. First, we had a rest, and then there was an individual training programme: the gym, jogging. I even had the opportunity to play football a few times.
- Have you already seen the opponents you will play against at the training camp?
- Yes, I have, but I can't say anything in particular, everything will be seen at the training camp. Matches at the training camp and official matches are different things.
