French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanen has expressed his opinion on the 2017 transfer of Brazilian forward Neymar to PSG from Barcelona.
"I am very happy that such footballers or rugby players come to our country, pay big taxes on their income. If Neymar had not moved to PSG, there would be no tax payments, no sold jersey with his name, no social security refund," - quotes Darmanen Sofoot.com.
Recall, the transfer of Neymar from Barcelona cost PSG in 222 million euros. The media then reported that the transfer could be carried out bypassing the tax laws of France. Avoid paying taxes to the Paris club could have been helped by someone from the French authorities, including Gerald Darmanen.
