The president of Hertha Berlin, Kai Bernstein, has died unexpectedly at the age of 43, the German football club has announced.
Kai BernsteinThe cause of Bernstein's death is currently unknown.
"The club has received the terrible news that President Kai Bernstein has died at the age of 43. The players, management and staff are shocked and deeply saddened by what has happened. Our thoughts are with Kai's family and loved ones," Hertha said on social media.
Bernstein had been the club's president since June 2022.
