Metalist 1925 newcomer Vladlen Yurchenko commented on his move to the Kharkiv club.
"My impressions are very good. The team accepted me well. So now we are working hard, switching to two training sessions a day. I liked the way they plan to develop this project. And also the fact that I am well acquainted with the coaching staff led by Viktor Anatoliyovych. So I didn't think twice about it.
Do you have any plans to be called up to the Ukrainian national team again? This is a difficult question. Yes, I have such ambitions. But this requires a lot of things to come together. The first is teamwork. If the team plays well, shows results, then its players are watched. Therefore, we all need to work together and play well. I want the national team coaching staff to watch not only me, but everyone," Yurchenko was quoted as saying by Metalist 1925's official website.
