Former Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, who is a free agent, has found a new club.
Jerome Boateng, Getty ImagesAccording to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio on his Twitter page, the German centre-back will soon sign a contract with Serie A outsider Salernitana. The agreement will be valid until the end of the current campaign.
Boateng spent the previous two seasons playing for French side Lyon, for whom he made 35 appearances and provided two assists.
