Wolverhampton winger Gonzalo Guedes has joined Villarreal on loan, the Spanish club's press service reports.

The 27-year-old footballer's deal is set to run until the end of this season. The Portuguese has previously played in La Liga, defending the colours of Valencia for five seasons.

In the first half of the season, Guedes played for Benfica on loan, recording two assists in 14 matches.
