Famous Ukrainian coach and expert Oleg Fedorchuk shared his views on Shakhtar midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.
"Apart from Sudakov, Shakhtar have no bright footballers at the moment. Georgiy, like Mudryk, sparkled back in his youth, and today there are no such diamonds in the Donetsk team. Now Sudakov is Shakhtar's last major asset, because there is no one else on the way. If there were, Sudakov would be sold.
"With Sudakov's departure, Shakhtar will lose their attacking potential, and if they fail to win the UPL title, they will lose 40-50 million for qualifying for the Champions League. It turns out that they will go to zero. Without Mudryk we can become champions, but without Sudakov it will be more difficult, because he is a style-forming player. I think Shakhtar weighed up exactly the same way when they turned down Napoli.
I would advise Sudakov to play at Shakhtar. The best time for transition is when he is 24-25 years old. But for his age Sudakov is a top footballer," Fedorchuk said.
