- He doesn't communicate with them much. Anatolii hasn't visited his children since 2017 or 2018. Although he can call them twice a week by court order. He wanted to take them away from me altogether. In his own Russian way. He allegedly took tests with a psychologist in the days when Tymoshchuk was not even in Russia. Then he came here and said: I'm normal, but she needs to be checked... This won't work in Germany, this is not Russia. I wasn't deprived of any rights, but he was given this regime of communication with his children - calls twice a week. Although before that, he had no regime, he could communicate as much as he wanted. Now he sometimes calls his daughters. The children sometimes answer the phone. I try to make them pick up the phone when I hear him, because he calls the home phone. Because I have to encourage my children to communicate with their father by law. I tell the children to pick up the phone, but when you tell the children to do it, do you understand what the children do? On the contrary. They don't really want to talk to him. Sometimes they ask him questions, and he just talks nonsense. Anatolii hardly ever wishes them happy birthday. Although I think he did once recently. Just on the phone, no gifts, nothing. For example, our German neighbours send gifts to our children or money in an envelope... But we haven't heard from my dad for years. Plus, he constantly deceives them. He says: I'll buy you an iPad, and they just laugh at him. Once, when the war started, they asked who he fought for. And Tymoshchuk said that he was not for Russia. He would lie to them, and that's all. But he is who he is. So what can you do? We take it in stride. You see, they are already 13-14 years old. If he is not in their lives, then he is not. They have other things on their minds.
- After Euro 2012, Tymoshchuk recorded a video message in Ukrainian and swore his love for Ukraine. About 10 years have passed and he hasn't said a single word about our country. What could have changed the man so much?
- He promises to give his children a stinking iPad for Christmas, and he deceives them, so what do you want, what does Ukraine mean to him? I think he would sell his own mother for three rubles. He feels comfortable there now. He will be used by Russia later, and he doesn't understand or realise this. Or he doesn't care.
