Turkish side Besiktas has managed to agree a contract with Belgrade-based Red Star defender Aleksandar Dragovic, who is known in Ukraine for his performances for Dynamo Kiev, Aksam reported.

According to the publication, the 32-year-old Austrian travelled to Istanbul to sign a contract that will last for a year and a half.

Dragovic was bound by an agreement with Crvena Zvezda until the end of the current season, but Besiktas managed to formalise his transfer now. The source does not say anything about the amount of the transfer, according to earlier information, the Turkish club was ready for 700 thousand euros for the experienced defender.
