UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin has expressed concerns about security at Euro 2024 in the event of Ukraine or Israel entering the tournament.

"In these crazy times, when the world is going crazy because of geopolitics, security is the biggest concern. I'm not only afraid for the stadiums, because I'm sure the arenas will be properly protected. But there will be fans in all cities and towns. However, let's be optimistic. I am convinced that with the support of the German authorities, who are determined to help us, everything will be fine," Čeferin told The Telegraph.
