As Sport.ua has learned, during the winter break in the league, Polissia and Karpaty showed interest in left-back Vasyl Kravets, who could have activated the option to terminate his contract with Dnipro-1 unilaterally.
Vasyl KravetsHowever, neither the Zhytomyr nor Lviv clubs were able (or rather, did not want) to afford the player's salary. According to reports, Kravets wanted to earn more than 30 thousand euros per month at his new club.
As a result, the defender remains on a lower salary at Dnipro-1, with whom he is bound by a contract until 30 June 2026.
Kravets, 26, joined the Dnipro club last summer from Vorskla (for €800,000, according to Transfermarkt). This season, the Lviv football product has played 19 matches for the Sportclub in all competitions.
