Honorary Member of UEFA, former UEFA Vice President Hryhoriy Surkis is confident in the success of the former coach of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko as the new head of the Ukrainian Football Association.
- I don't vote.
- If you had the right to vote, who would you vote for?
- Of course, I would vote for the man who did everything he set out to do and succeeded. This is Andriy Shevchenko, who, in my opinion, was a cured figure in football. Now, when our country is suffering from a racist invasion, he was the first to promote the UNITED24 brand on the world stage.
Now he has a new challenge. Moreover, I believe that two people who once played together, scalped even Barcelona (Rebrov, who leads the national team), are confident that they, together with Andriy Mykolayovych, will do everything possible to ensure that we win high-profile victories on world football arenas, create a vertical of national teams that will provide new challenges not only for the 11 players who play in the top championships, but also for young people.
Thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this Congress is taking place. I am confident that the championship in all football competitions will give these people (soldiers - ed.) a breath of fresh air.
