England central midfielder Calvin Phillips has officially moved from Manchester City to West Ham on loan.
According to the Hammers' press service, the agreement between the clubs is valid until the end of the season with the possibility for Londoners to make the transfer permanent for £40 million in the summer.
Phillips joined Manchester City from Leeds in the summer of 2022, but had limited playing time under Pep Guardiola. In total, he played only 31 matches and scored one goal. Despite his lack of playing practice, the 28-year-old was regularly called up to the England national team.
