Cagliari and Torino clashed in an exciting Serie A match held at the Unipol Domus stadium. Both teams were hungry for victory and the game promised to be a battle from start to finish. The first half started with Torino showing their intentions and taking control of the game. In the 11th minute Cagliari made their first substitution, bringing on I. Suleman instead of M. Prati in an attempt to change the dynamic of the match. However, in the 23rd minute Torino scored their first goal and D. Zapata made the score 1-0. Cagliari's disappointment became evident when in the 41st minute M. Vetesca received a yellow card and was warned by the referee. Just before the break Torino doubled their lead thanks to S. Ricci's goal in the 45th minute. The first half ended 2-0. In the second half, Cagliari were determined to get back on track. Wasting no time, in the 46th minute they made two quick substitutions: P. Hatzidiakos came on in place of N. Viola, and J. Yankto - in place of L. Pavo. Yankto - instead of L. Pavoletti. These changes gave Cagliari's attack new vigour. In the 62nd minute Torino received a yellow card for playing with the hand of S. Ricci, who was replaced by L. Pavoletti. Ricci, who was replaced by G. Gineitis. However, in the 78th minute Torino made another substitution: A. Sanabria replaced S. Cagliari. Sanabria replaced S. Sazonov to strengthen the defence. As the clock ticked towards the main time, the match became more and more tense. In the 82nd and 83rd minutes Torino received yellow cards - V. Milinkovic-Savic and A. Buongiorno respectively. In response, Cagliari made a last substitution in the 87th minute, replacing N. Viola for P. Pellegrí. The final minutes of the match were tense, with both teams desperately looking for the decisive goal. In the 87th minute Torino made two more substitutions, replacing R. Bellanova with M. Vojvoda and D. Zapata with P. Pellegrí. The drama intensified in the penalty time when Torino received two more yellow cards - R. Rodriguez in the 90th minute. Rodriguez in the 90th minute and I. Juric in the 90th minute. In the last minutes of the match Torino thought they had secured the victory with a goal by P. Pellegrí, but the goal was cancelled due to offside. The match ended with the score 2:1 in favour of Torino, despite all the attempts of Cagliari to get back.
