On 30 January, the first meeting on the creation of the Assembly of Regions was held at the Football House in Kyiv. The need to form such a communication platform was announced by UAF President Andriy Shevchenko during the recent congress of the association, and later the UAF Executive Committee supported this proposal.
Photo: uaf.uaThe meeting of the working group was attended by UAF President Andriy Shevchenko, First Vice President Pavlo Boichuk, Vice President Oleksandr Shevchenko, Secretary General Ihor Hryshchenko and representatives of regional associations.
"The Assembly of Regions should become a platform for communication between regional associations and the UAF and will prepare proposals on issues related to the development of football in the regions for further approval by the Executive Committee," said Andriy Shevchenko.
During the discussion, the meeting participants made their proposals on the functioning of the assembly, listened to the opinions of regional representatives on the management model and elected a working group to create a regulation on this new working body of the UAF.
The Regulations will be sent to all participants for approval, after which it will be considered by the UAF Executive Committee. After that, the first meeting of the new body will be held in accordance with the approved regulations, at which the leadership will be elected and the Assembly of Regions will begin its direct activities.
