Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has noted improvements in Chelsea's performance under Mauricio Pochettino. The teams will meet at Anfield in the 22nd Premier League match.
"Since my arrival in England, our matches with Chelsea have always been very intense, I would say a real battle.
It's obvious to anyone who follows that Chelsea are on a clear upswing under Mauricio Pochettino, a coach and a man I have the utmost respect for. It took him, like anyone else, time to get to this point with a virtually new team.
The fact that he reached the final in his first season speaks volumes. We look forward to seeing him at Wembley next month. We know that the opponent is already strong and can get even better," Klopp was quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
Chelsea and Liverpool will meet once again in the final of the EFL Cup on 25 February.
