UAF President Andriy Shevchenko spoke about the attitude of FIFA and UEFA to Russia's war against Ukraine.
"They are monitoring, they know about all the situations in Ukraine, but these are very big risks for them, because they do not want to interfere in these situations when there is a war.
We hold the Ukrainian championship, we have competitions. We see that we cannot play international games and European Cups in Ukraine. When competitions are held here, there are very big risks, and they will not interfere. This is our risk.
And as for the World Cup, which was held in Qatar, no one wants to hear political speeches. The same applies to the European Cups. But we have to do everything to make ourselves heard. We have to talk to them, prove it, tell them the truth," Shevchenko said in an interview with the Bombardier YouTube channel.
